Paul Nagle, Dec Drummond and Jim Kelly's Under 16 Young Barbarians side have been having a great season and won the Leinster Leinster School-Youth League Division 1 against a determined Cill Dara yesterday at the Leinster Metro festival of finals in Energia Park Donnybrook.

The Young Barbarians is a side that ran in conjunction with sister clubs Old Belvedere RFC and De La Salle Palmerston RFC which saw all the clubs share the load and the spoils.

Well done to Head Coach Sean Dunne and Backs Coach Shane Hourihane for doing splendid work in amalgamating this diverse group of players into a formidable force. Thanks to everyone involved at Old Belvedere (David Monaghan and President Steve O'Leary) and De La Salle's Alan, Phil and Craig but particularly to OBRFC man Ollie Campbell who took them under his wing.

After the win, it was all around the corner to Ollie Campbell Park for Pizzas and drinks. Well done all and best of luck next week in the Cup.
