The Young Barbarians Under 16 side is a lesson in what three clubs can achieve when they put the shoulder to the wheel and push in the same direction. Lansdowne FC, Old Belvedere RFC and De La Salle Palmerston RFC combined at under 16s when it was realised each of the three clubs could not field a full side for the 21/22 Season. And what a season it is turning out to be. Today they continued their winning streak bringing them into the league semi-final stages by by beating Malahide on the road.

Today the lads played in the @dlspfcrugby colours and club socks instead of their adopted all black jerseys due to the conflict with Malahide. Thanks to Malahide for a good game and we'll see ye all again soon.

Well done to all concerned. It is a really worthwhile and rewarding project to see this bunch of boys bond and compete as a unit.
