Monday night rugby is not an always glorious affair but the J2s and Greystones offered up an entertaining fixture for the small crowd gathered in Dr.Hickey Park.

By half time LFC were 15-3 behind with stones scoring 2 tries in the first half but only one converted.

Just into the second half, Lansdowne scored off a maul and Oran converted to make it 17-15.

Then a great team try in the corner. Crossfield kick from the back of a ruck from Rob Kelly finished by Donal Liddy. Oran knocks it over from the other touch lione to give LFC a lead 15-17.

On the 60 minute mark a Try for Ron Kelly after a scrum won against the head. Oran misses this one from the touch line.

15-22 60 mins gone and we manage to hold out for the remainder to win.
