The U14 had their first grading game against De La Salle Palmerston FC on Sunday morning. Exciting time for the team, as the boys enter the formal Leinster competition for the first time as a group.

Another beautiful sunny morning on the back pitch at HQ allowed the team to play expensive rugby – with the team scoring 8 tries to win the match 52-7. The brace of tries came from a combined effort from the forwards and backs – including a try straight from the training ground from our hooker Donal after a line-out 5 meters from DLSP try line.

A great collective effort from the squad. Still plenty of work and a long road ahead of us, but a very good start to the competition. Another challenge awaits next week, with Suttonians away expected to be a tough proposition.

Thanks to DLSP for visiting us and we wish you guys all the best for the season ahead. Well done all.
