The Lansdowne Women’s team marked a thrilling milestone on November 17th, claiming victory in their inaugural season against DLSP Ladies with an impressive 39-15 win at Claremont Road. 

Under the guidance of head coach John Tobin, the team delivered an excellent performance that set the tone for their debut season. The match began as a tightly contested affair. However, Lansdowne soon found their rhythm, showcasing the growth of the team and the determination of the players. Lansdowne took control of the game with cohesive teamwork and a relentless drive that propelled them to a commanding lead.

 

This historic win was a testament to the dedication and preparation of the players and coaching staff. The energy on the field was matched by the enthusiastic support from the sidelines, creating a celebratory atmosphere for this landmark achievement. With their first victory secured, the standard has now been set for the Lansdowne Women, who continue to build on their success against DLSP .

 

On December 15th, the last match of 2024, a 46-19 victory over Swords was secured at Claremont road, finishing 2024 on a high note.
