Last night, the Under 13s travelled to Lakelands for the Metro Cup Semi Final against Terenure College which saw them come away with a win and a chance to take on old foes Old Belvedere RFC on Sunday in the final.
It was quite historic in the fact it was the first time in my memory at least, that two Lansdowne FC teams fought side by side in Lakelands. Our J1s were playing on the main grass pitch for the Metro Sheild which they won 47-19.
